Needs a couple of 1 1/2 MPT x 1 1/2 FPT street elbows. Would really like to get them in black. Anyone know where I could find them. D&T Aquarium is a sclose as I've been able to get, but only have them in sched 80 grey.

well for 1 the term "street elbow" typically means an elbow that one side is a spigot fitting (fits inside the comparable slip fitting), so mpt x fpt street elbow is a confliction in terms LOL

anywhoo, savko has some black fittings:

i don't see a fpt x mpt in any size......

1.5 fpt: http://www.savko.com/partlist.asp?pgid=3&ptid=36&pid=180&part=B407015

1.5 mpt: http://www.savko.com/partlist.asp?pgid=3&ptid=36&pid=180&part=B410015

1.5 street: http://www.savko.com/partlist.asp?pgid=3&ptid=36&pid=180&part=B409015

if all else fails, if you can find what you need in white, just spray it w/ krylon fusion spray paint.....perfectly reefsafe

My bad. I thought a street elbow had a threaded female fitting on one side and a threaded male fitting on the other end.
Does Fusion hold up pretty well? Looking to replace the 2 current white return fittings in the tank. Think chipped or flaking black fittings could look even worse.

it holds up pretty good....but it will chip if hit hard. maybe try scuffing the pvc up real good w/ some heavy duty sandpaper first.

once the coraline builds up it shouldn't matter LOL

i have a few (3) black 1.5 elbows that are slip x mpt in my "misc pvc fittings" box i'm not using if ya need em, but i can't recall ever seeing a mpt x fpt

Thanks for the offer. Have an extra set though, might try to paint them and see how they hold up.
