Reefcentral is currently ranked 77th largest web forum out there. For comparison, reefsdotorg is ranked 1214th largest.

IIRC a few years ago RC ranked much higher, despite RC continuing to grow.

Just curious as to how they ranked a forum? by page visits? traffic? registered users?

Looks like we're 77 against ALL forums they track. Not just reef/saltwater.

I can't imagine a larger reef forum.

RC is 77th do to posts. Its 226 in members. If you click on the 77 you can find all the stats on the page it brings you to.

Its ranked 923 post/member ratio. And 48th in traffic. Its pretty interesting.

Yes but it is also misleading because lots of other popular forums are very segmented. You wouldn't think there are more reefers than say car, spot, computer or porno guys right? :)

If we have 10k computer users, for example, segmented in 50 different computer forums (because really there are lots of them!) which makes each forum a mere 200 users. It only takes 250 of us in RC to beat all these 50 computer forums simply because there isn't enough reef forums to segment us.

If there are another dominate reef forums which split the traffic with RC, we can easily go down.

Anyhow, it's good to know RC is doing well and continue to grow.
