Question on LEDs

Can you tell me what size LEDs are used in the Simu-L sticks: 5 mm or some smaller size? also I would assume they are 1 watt... true?

I am guessing that they are 1mm LEDs. Anyone with GHL ties able to support this guess?

Trying to plan out a similar project for my nano where a stick won't fit, and I don't have a profilux on it.

You need a profiLux to run the sticks they do not work on any other controller.

I know... I am just trying to identify the size of the LEDs used. Trying to replicate the same look on my cheap little nano. That's why I am trying to identify what size you use.

I would rather use your sticks, which are dimamble and do sunset, but my nano is not in the same building as my profilux-driven tank. Just trying to create the same look, just for moon, with a DIY effort. Won't be anywhere as good, but again, the sticks cost more than the entire nano setup!

so... 1 mm? 5 mm? And any idea on wattage?
