So I finally found my lost camera and got to down load pics of my frag tank. Its a 20l with a 10 sump with skimmer, 250 10k mh. I read on here somewhere about growing out zoa's on crushed coral and gave it a try and it works great, just cut off the number of polyps you want and glue them to a rock, thats what the bottoms of the 2l bottles are about, give it a try if you are selling polyps by numbers. Enjoy and let me know if I am doing anything wrong or I may want to change. Thanks

I control the temp with a 150w heater and a ceiling fan, temp rang 78-79.3 with a 1/2 gallon evap that has a IV drip line auto top off (paramedic thing)(it works great for small tanks)

When I put the stand together I used wood glue all over the place and replaced the cheep screws with better stuff. I am going to have to change out the tank once I get my new 75 gallon running due to a crack in the glass by the overflow. Going to go with another 20l just set up a little better, also a new stand that fits the tank. Thanks for compliments.

Looks good. I am going to be setting up a 20L frag tank here soon, but I am going to be connecting it to the sump of my 75 DT. Are you just using the 250 watt MH or doyou use some kind of actinic supplementing the MH?

Just a 250 MH 10k. Things are growing great. Building a new stand as we speak. I had to get it set up due to moving from a 8 gallon to a 240 had to have some place to keep the small corals I had in my 8 while the new tank is getting set up.

how well does the regal tang do w/ out having any rock to hide in? also, why is there crushed coral in the 2 liter bottle bottoms w/ the zoanthids?? i havent ever seen that so was wondering what purpose it served.

I cant remember what the stuff is but it takes the place of carbon, last a little longer, when I get home I will post what it is.

If you look on the right side of the tank she has her own little hidding/sleeping place. I seen on here about putting the zoas in crushed coral and let them grow out and if you sell by the polyp you dont have to scrape or break up rock. I am doing it so I have a nice flat surface to take the shapes of my rock in my new 215 after its up and running(next month). It works great. The hammer is just in there to nurse back an injury it will go on rock in the next month.

Tank is toooo small for that tang. Hope that you have a larger tank for the fish soon.

Other than that cudos on the set up.
