Hi,

I have an Aquasurf that I am tying to use with a Tunze 6100. My problem is that I"m not getting any power to the Aquasurf through the din5 cable that is connected to the Tunze 7240.27 driver. The Aquasurft powers on with the power connector from my ACIII though (but I only have 1 power adapter). I am not sure what's broken... the driver, the Aquasurf, the cable...

Thw AquaSurf does not power the Tunze. With the AquaSurf unplugged the 6100 should be 100% (full on) and if the pump turns off when you plug it into the AquaSurf it could be that the pump is manual off or the profile is setting the pump to 0%.

Also; the connection should be AquaSurf to Tunze pump (not the driver).

The Tunze pump is on no matter what I do. My 6100 pump is hardwired to a (7240.27) driver. The driver has a manual speed adjustment, a power connection from the transformer and a DIN5 connection for a controller. Also the driver has a sticker on it that says it's compatible with the 7095 controller and various others. Maybe the driver can't supply power to the Aquasurf? If this is the case, where could I get a power adapter for the Aquasurf?

I'd suggest contacting Neptune directly; (408) 578-3022
