Any suggestions on how to get a RBTA off of glass without hurting it. It is currently attached to the back of the glass. I would like to get it out because it's getting pretty big. Thanks for the help.

I think most of them refer American Express as they would not leave home without it....

LOL. You can also use powerheads to blow directly on it, or use an ice bag where it's foot is on the other side of glass of course.

my experience with dozens of rbta's has been that they only take credit cards, - icebag or powerhead dont work.

I agree totally. Ice and power head are a waste of time. It will come off the glass very easily with a CC. I suce a small plastic blad to get them to release from rock but it can be very time consuming.

I have several tricks I use. If you can get at the foot I use a small rounded plastic pic. It looks like sort of like a mini meat cleaver but is not sharp. I pick at an area of the foot gently lifting the foot away from the rock. Then just keep working at it till you get it all lifted away. It can take 30-60 min sometimes depending on the rock and anemone. I like to have a fine stream of water running on it to wash the slime the anemone generates away. Another method I have used is to chisel the rock out from under the foot.
