I know I've seen Dr. Roy mention having a couple of pairs of the larger zebras in his lab. Are there any of the smaller species that can be paired?

I'm thinking about getting a shallow 50g square tank to set up reef style that would highlight a mantis. However, being a rather large tank for the mantis world I'd rather like to get a pair for more dastardly activities.

I know the Odontodactylus species can't be paired but that's as far as my research has gotten me.

As far as we know, only members of the Family Lysiosquillidae pair. Some of the smallest (17 mm) of all stomatopods, Pullasquilla, pair.

Some gonodactylids such as N. wennerae mate-guard for up to a week or so, but the rest of the time they are aggressive.
