It appears that my tank is not perfectly level. Its a 240 square (4'x4') with and external overflow. The water level is 1/4" higher on the backside with the overflow. The glass is thicker on the backside (19mm). My question is whether or not this can cause problems for me? thanx

Should not be an issue. Just a visual thing only if it bugs you.

haha yea it does bug me, but not as much as the thought of taking everything it out to relevel it.

I had to shim my tank. I had bought a package of premade shims once, they look like the wedge type door stops but are super slim on one side. I bet you could get one under the tank stand and use a hammer to drive it in, raising the tank slightly. I have smooth tile floor so if its carpeted, it wont work.

Thats sounds like awesome demantions. Do you have it set up? Maybe a pic you could post? I would love to have a tank with that kind of depth, I really like the look it gives.

Good luck with it. Sounds like the making of a killer tank. :)
