I want to add a decent sized (5-6 inch) one to my tank (as the only large fish in the system). He would be the only fish in my 120, but down the road I might want to add some smaller fish like a couple of chromis or anthias. Will this guy harass the smaller fish down the road after he gets comfortable?

If you read around you'll find many stories of them turning into terrors when they reach 8" or so.

You should be fine. I've only ever seen hippos get really mean if the tank or their diet is low on algae. Then it's a different story. Other than that though, it shouldn't pay any attention to those other fish.

I had one for a year or so until he decided to start munching on all my Zoanthids!! I captured him & got rid of him. Too bad We really liked him accept for that.

Good luck!
