Return Pump Suggestions for my 80 gal.

Im am in the process of building a 80 gallon reef tank with a 30 gal sump.. I am runing a eshopps pf-800 HOB overflow. I was thinking about running a mag drive 9.5 return pump. Is this to big? Let know what you think are some good pump choices.

I have a mag 9 on my 75g return and I had to put a ball valve on it to throttle it back a bit so I would say get it.

I have a mag 9 on my 90 gallon and had to use a ball valve as well to control the amount of flow.
