Can anybody give me an id?
Seabae or saddleback? Or neither?

sorry i'm wrong that is a sebae clown i'm positive definitly not a saddleback they don't have white lines nor are they black with yellow orange mouths !saddlebacks are red with a disticnt black saddle between the dorsal fin and tail fin.

Its a black saddleback clownfish for sure. Saddle backs come in three color varieties that I am aware of. Brown, reddish, and black.

I agree Ocellaris123. Def Saddleback. Sebae are of the same complex but those aren't Sebae. I agree the "Saddle" is long but its not a regular stripe like a Sebae. The white sweeps back on the fin. Characteristic of the Saddleback. No orange tail like a Sebae either.

ok i'm wrong they are saddles the stripe threw me off i thought saddles only had a partial stripe in the shape of a saddle

Not true. You are indeed mistaken :) All 3 of these clowns are Saddlebacks.

That's a Juvenile. Not all Saddles have a full stripe either. Some do some don't depending on the variety.

Dudley, Click on my red house. I have pics of black polymnus, brown polymnus and sebae. It takes a while to pick out all the subtle differences.
