Hello,

I have an AC3 with a DC8 module. The load on it is really pretty light. I have 4 separate lights, three on during the day, and one on at night. In addition, it controls a single Koralia pump in the tank for circulation.

Thursday night, the lights suddenly just stopped turning off. I did NOT TOUCH the Controller OR DC8 all day. I'd barely touched the tank all day. The programming still seems entirely intact. It did not lose power for any significant length of time, if at all. I know for a fact the control box didn't get wet, as it sits up behind my entertainment center, and I know the DC8 did not get significantly wet, though it is possible a drop or two may have hit it (Though I didn't notice if it did and don't think so). There was no significant tank leaks or anything else, it was a completely normal day. I wasn't out of the house more than maybe an hour, if that, so I'm sure something big didn't happen that I just don't know about. Now the DC8 seems frozen in the state it's normally in during the day. Lights 1-3 on, light 4 off, and the pump on.

I've already tried unplugging the control cable from the controller to DC8, but it had no effect at all. I've also tried just waiting a few days. The icons on my AC3 display are changing at the appropriate times for lights on/off, but the DC8 doesn't seem to be responding to them at all.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Have you power-cycled the AC3? Does manual control work?

No, manual control does not work, and yes, I have rebooted it.

Actually it was the phone cord that went from the control box to the DC8. I replaced that, and it's working fine.
