Ok, since I thought a wet/dry filter was better than a refugium, I bought a Pro clear aquatics 200, with external overflow, and in sump skimmer... long story short, I made my own refugium within the sump, I'll upload pics tomorrow...
What kind of light do I need, I read about it and most recommend PC 6.5K

How long do you leave the lights on for over the fuge? I need to also upgrade fuge lights, starting to grow bad algea in fuge.

If you are having nitrate/phosphate issues, you can run the fuge 24/7. Chaeto and macroalgae do not need a "dark" period.

If you have nutrients mostly under control, run the fuge a "reverse photocycle" from the main tank, meaning, at night. The algae's photosynthetic activity will offset the CO2 production of the main tank and thus help balance your pH.

Check out the bulb Melev uses---- I use the same bulb and they are GREAT.

Go to Lowes. HD does not have any CP floods over 19 watts in 6500K. Lowes as a 26 watt par 38 6500K bulb. I love it, I think the cheato does too.
