View Full Version : Need Host For June TBRC Meeting

Tony unfortunately cannot host the TBRC meeting June 13th. Is there anybody that can host the meeting? I know that it is late notice but if we are not able to obtain a host we can forgo the official meeting and just use the collection trip as the June meeting place. We will not really be able to have an auction or an educational topic though. Let me know what ya'll want to do.

Sue if the club needs a place and if everyone agrees I'll offer my house as the meeting place again for June 13th. I really enjoyed the meeting and would love to have another frag auction.

Jason's was a wonderful place for a meeting, and is fairly close by for us "east-of-the-bay" folks. I'm game for either.

thanks so much for offering to host again. Thanks was wonderful for you to do. I am hoping that we get a little more input from the club members before the board decides. Lets wait a few days to see what happens.

Although not an official member, the collection trip sounds like a great idea in place of a meeting.

Side note.. again although not a member, i wouldn't mind hosting sometime. I'm in Apollo Beach area.

I like the collection trip idea . I don't think anyone would want to make a trip all the way up here , or I would offer to host a meeting . Ted

I favor a meeting, and they are worth the drive because I always learn something, though I was excited about the Carrolwood meeting because it was so close, and I haven't been to one yet this year!

thank you all for helping us decide what to do. Thanks to Jason for offering his house again but the club feels that it would be better to have a meeting at a different location and one a little north this time so I have decided to host the meeting at my house. I hope everybody is okay with that. I will get with Mike about an educational topic and we will have an auction. I would like to have the topic that I believe Roger had a few months ago about making your own fish and coral food. Maybe Mike can do something like that and we can try making it at my house.

I have never made my own fish food but thought it would be interesting to look into-Maybe we can all bring an ingredient and make the food? Then we could all take a portion home-just an idea-it could get messy and I really dont know how all the logistics would work. Just throwing it out there...Let me know if you need any help with anything.
