I don't have a quarantine tank but would like to set one up. I know I will need a heater and a small powerhead but what size tank would you recommend for a small QT? Also should i be running a skimmer or just do regular water changes? live sand? live rock? I would like to keep it simple and not invest a lot of $$$ in something that nobody sees. Thanks in advance for your suggestions...

you do not need a skimmer, live rock or sand
alot of people just use hob filters and some structure like pvc pipe eggcrate.

Definitely keep it simple. that way you don't have to keep it going all the time.
