I have an extra magfloat and need another temporary frag tray.

So lets see 'em!

Thanks!

Here is 3 of them. In use until my frag system is completed. I did a writeup long ago on how to build them.

That is actually 3 separate ones. All equal size. I made them that way so I could move only the one I wanted to the top of the tank.

Garage -- Looks great/ Any chance you could post a link to your frag tray build thread? I can't find it.

LOL I had a couple of small tips of Oregon Tort that I accidentally broke off while cleaning once. I glued them down to a disc like you have and one of them took off and formed another small colony. The other just stayed there the same as when I glued it and never really grew.

It is amazing how small frags can be and still be successful. Crazy stuff!

I think you could sell those as "micro colonies." :lolspin:

Why not get a rack from www.fragarack.com I got two of them with extra magnets due to the thickness. The local club here did a group buy. Basically the same concept but alot smaller magnet.

Not bad looking, however they do not look to hold near the qty a DIY rack would. Especially if you use say a magfloat 350. Also the price is pretty much the same. Very clean looking though.
