Just got my mp40w and are still getting used to the control of the pump i have it set roughly in the middle of the right hand side of the tank. just been playing wiht the wave short pulse setting . on the lowest setting the water starts to sway and as i move the dial it gets greater but by the time the dial is just below the half wayh round the sway stops . is there any way to make the sway get a bit greater . could my rock work be causing an issue .
it is currently set as a rock face across the back of the tank. close to the pump on one side .
how far should the pump be below the surface ?

any help would be good

The size of the wave will definitely depend on your tank size, layout and the position of the pump.

The higher the pump is in the tank the larger the effect you'll see at the surface.
