So I just found out my soon to be father-In-Law can get glass at wholesale, including Starphire glass! So I have decided to build a new tank. Problem is I don't know how to. So if anyone knows how to build a tank, or has some links for some great places to learn how to build it. One thing I need to know is glass thickness, is it safe to do rimless, should I put a center brace on it etc... So please let me know because I'm excited to build my first tank.

THANKS!

Check DIY forum. Just saw a thread over there about rimless tank.

It is perfectly fine to go rimless as long as the glass is thick enough, and that is where the question begins. How big do you want to go?
