It is a yellow color morph of Pseudosquilla ciliata. As the drop in price would indicate, it is not rare - although this appears to be a nice specimen.

Dr. Roy, wont he change color depending on lighting conditions?

Usually, but I suspect there is some genetic predisposition for the yellow color "morph". I have seen them remain yellow in a bright, multi-colored system. We usually catch yellow P. ciliata on exposed reef flats with lots of coral and a diversity of algae.

Derailing a bit, but im sure that my next mantis is going to be a P. ciliata, Dr. Roy do you have a favorite color morph of the ciliata?? Im liking the "skunk" mantis look, but i also love the bright yellow.

My favorite is emerald green with a tan racing stripe down the back.

Hmmm Lemon Pineapple would be an interesting flavor, more so on a mantis shrimp >_<... my P.ciliata is pretty close to that color, a little more leaning towards green-ish than yellow although now she's moving towards a weird orange-ish + the start of a stripe down the back.
My wife and I found a beautiful lime green one at the beach we go to, about 4" long and seems to be pretty well established; we've seen it the last two times we've gone heh.
