I a looking to see peoples wild caught onyx percs.
Specifically with black filling between all bars, and possibly with black dorsal fins.
Also i would like to know if your specimins coulured up or changed colour in different tank situations.

Thanks
Adam

Back in Jan I got a pair of SI percs, they had a decent amount of black on them. However, they have less black now, if it matters they are hosting an LTA. I feed them a variety of foods.

This shot was taken 4/23, I want to say that they have lost more black, and can take another picture tonight.

About as bad as making 15 two word posts in 15 minutes so that you can sell.

They definitely have a misbar of some sort. but the general name is B&W occelaris

They are standard misbars black and white occelaris, just a particularly nice pattern, I have moved them from my display as they never really formed a stable pair after two years they now live at work, happily.
I just got some PNG percs that look like Todds do now except with with black complete between two bars, They went straight into my purple gigantea, I am hoping they will color up like todds first pic, the orange on their dorsal is the shadowy type that can turn black given the right conditionsWhat those conditions are, is subject to disscussion, some say species of nem(carpets make them go blacker), some say age, some say light intensity, personally i favour the first so I have high hopes of a darkening of my pair.

Wow, that is a sweet picture.

I was originally going to get a Haddoni for my pair. It was taking longer then I wanted and went with an LTA. Of course two weeks after that I found a Haddoni (( which is now in another tank )). I have been toying with the idea of selling the LTA and moving that Haddoni over to their tank --- wonder if that would improve their color.

I bet you would see a colour change if they were in a haddon's, My other pair really coloured up in their haddoni when I had it.
You can see the "shadowy" area on the area near the dorsal on mine, so fingers crossed, I will keep everyone posted.

Bad picture, but here are my wild caught Onyx. They lost quite a bit of black wen I put them in my tank back in August 2009, but have started to regan it slowly

Isn't the LTA hosting the clowns? j/k, I know that's Todd's golden rule ;)
