I have never had this stuff in my tank before, but i received some frags with it on them. I was very reluctant to place the frags in my DT, but what was I to do. How do I insure that it doesnt take over my tank. Will my CUC eat this stuff or how do I get it off the frags. Thanks for you help and happy reefing

If it's the real thick and coarse stuff, I never could find anything to eat it. Manual removal was the only choice and it didn't pull up easily.

Fortunately, it didn't grow or spread too fast like GHA did.

im pretty sure its that turf algae, i have it in my display. It does not grow out of control but my blue leg hermits eat it.

Does it look like this?

I had this in my tank and everything ate it. Hermits, astreans, turbos, emerald crabs, centropyge even picked at it.
