Hello Everyone. As you may know I have been without a SW tank for a while now. I decided to sell the 150 gallon tank, and all equipment. I have been so busy lately that I have not had time to properly care for a large tank. Couple that with the fact that I have not been staying at home for the last few weeks, and it is obvious why I needed to dismantle the tank. Megan and I are remodeling a house, and plan on moving in at the end of this year. At that time I will setup a large FOWLR tank dominated by (of course) angels and butterflies.

Well, I cannot handle not having my own reef tank. Megans Elos is amazing, but it is hers not mine. I bought an ADA Rimless tank a while back and was going to set it up. But then decided to wait. Well, now I am ready.

The tank with be going into our company's showroom, where many will be able to see it.

System Specs"

Tank: ADA Rimless 60-P (18 gallons)
Lighting: ATI 24" 4 bulb Powermodule
Filtration: Tunze DOC Nano Skimmer
Circulation: MP10 Vortech

The tank with be Barebottom and have a very high turnover rate. (87.5 X per hour)

I plan on having several caves in which I will have Dendrophyllia coccinea, Tubastrea faulkneri and Balanophyllia sp.. The overall theme of the tank with be Deepwater reef. As for corals, the majority will be either non-photosynthetic or adaptable to low light.

The fish list is what really excites me. I have always loved the Liopropoma species, and this tank will be dedicated to these amazing fish. I plan on adding 3

Liopropoma carmabi
Liopropoma multilineatum
Liopropoma mowbrayi

I plan on getting the tank filled with water possibly this weekend, and will get the LR this weekend or early next week.

Let me know what you think of my ideas.

~Michael

The little Blue Face is only in the tank temporarily until he is large enough to go into our friends 150 gallon.

So this is what I am up against

Any info or thoughts on the multiple Lios?

I know some people has multiples and it can be done. But I do not know how these species typically behave towards similar fish.

I believe carmabi's and mowbrayi's can coexist together, I've seen it done... however every fish is different.

Well, I have been looking through everything and I am ready to order most of the equipment.

Any suggestions on the equipment would be great.
