View Full Version : Exporting AquaNotes database???

I am upgrading the server on which I run AquaNotes. I have a substantial database on there which I don't want to lose. How do I export the data to the new installation? Is there any way to automatically export the settings as well?

IIRC, all you need to do is install AquaNotes on the new computer, then copy all *.mdb files from C:\Program Files\AquaNotes\etc\ on the old computer to the same location on the new computer. It's been a while, but I believe this is all it took when I upgraded PCs a while back.

Well, I tried that and it didn't work. Not sure if I did something wrong, though. Any other thoughts?

The database is in program files\AquaNotes\etc\aquaDb.mdb. Just copy this file over to the same directory in the new PC, and all the logs,etc. will be present.
