Over the weekend, I cleaned some rocks and damaged my green leather. Now the body is darkening and look like a spreading. Anything I can do to save it?

If it is turning black and falling apart, a reef dip may help, but if it is breaking down rapidly, cutting away the dead and dying tissue can sometimes salvaged some frags from an otherwise doomed colony.

If it is just slightly dark, and not falling apart, I would keep an eye on it and see what develops before resorting to the old hack and slash routine.

I can see the black area is spreading out rapidly, but doesnt fall apart yet.

I will keep an eye on it.

If it has not gotten crumbly you can cut the necrotic parts off and it might recover.

That happened when my turbo snail ran over my yellow toadstool and tore a part of it. It turned black, began to spread, I cut it above the black, threw out that part, kept the crown and made a new frag and it's growing now :D
