Hello all,

This is our first time posting pictures of our tank. It has been running for a little over 2 years but for less then one year we have been mainly stocking SPS and trying to remove lps/soft corals a little at a time.

The tank has been through a lot over the last 2 years. It was originally set up as a FOWLR but after it was fully stocked with fish we realized that it would be so much more fun to almost never be able to "fully stock" a reef tank....or at least it would take a lot longer.

After changing things around many times and not being able to make up our minds with what types of coral we want this is where we are right now.

Also, The tank is just recovering from having red bugs for who knows how long. The color and PE got really bad and after a coral fell to the sand and i picked it back up I noticed the little red bugs and treated with interceptor. The colors are finally starting to come back but it maybe hard to tell in the pictures :)

THanks for looking and please give any type of criticism. You wont hurt our feelings.

The tank looks nice. What is the fish in the thirdphoto with the red fins? Is it a Tomini Tang?

thanks for the kind words.

the fish list is
tomini tang (very aggressive towards any other fish that goes into the tank, especially any fish that eats algae).
bimac hog
solarensis wrasse
indian ocean purple fire fish
percula clown

I have tried to add more but stupidly the tang was one of the first fish in the tank and he got used to being king so its really hard to add stuff.

hah thanks

Im thinking about switching to t5 but at the same time i feel like i should just not mess with anything and let the corals grow. But i dont see how switching to t5 would negatively affect the corals....
