I been using Mortons, but I have not been having the best of results. I use it in all the water I use. Maybe too much Iodine?

Whats the mix....never heard of that being used ina Marine tank...only brackish water

I have never heard of Mortons being used either. That doesn't sound like the greatest, although sometimes you can find a more available, cheaper option to useful things.

I believe the Mortons comment was a joke, at least I hope it was. Not a very good one, as it could steer new hobbyists in a very bad direction...lol.

I think you'll find that Instant Ocean has been around for a very long time and has a reputation as being a great product. There's a poll somewhere, here on RC about salt brands. IO won out by far.

Oceanic, have hardly thought twice about it. It can help to buffer the alkalinity tho. I believe that's intentional.

I've used reef crystals, IO, and Tropic marin all of which seemed about the same to me, IO is the easiest to get at almost any store in case of emergencies though
