I was playing with the macro tonight trying to get some decent shots with only actinic lighting. Thought I would share.

wow i need to learn macro, my dad has some nice glass but i tried to use it once with no luck

Did you check B&H photo? The web site is saying they have them in stock and with a rebate. I'm looking at the new canon T1I and will probably be getting this lens too.

It looks like he used a Nikon D50 with a 105mm macro (maybe the Nikon f2.8)

Hey guys. Thanks for the compliments. I used my nikon d50 with a sigma 105mm f2.8 EX lens. Keh.com also has great prices on used lenses. I'm sure you can find the canon 105 there. Very trustworthy site.

I didn't. I should have, but was in a hurry to get the shots before my lights went out. Would have been a tad more sharp if I did though
