ESV B-Ionic Questions (as 2-part)

Hi all~

I have 100gal SPS mainly tank and want to try 2-part dosing.
At first I try to Reef Bulk Supply's Two part kits but the total cost including shipping is almost double to Two part pkg itself.

I found ESV B-Ionic 2G(CA 1gal KH 1gal) product in my domestic LFS. so I can buy it easily and cheaper than RBS product.

I am also searching chemical component for DIY from our domestic chemical company. :)

How about B-Ionic. I read some thread about this and Many people love this.

In mainly SPS tank, How long can I use 2G B-Ionic as 2-part dosing you guess?

i have used B-ionic for along time and i love it. i guess i dont get your question as to how long you should use it.....

you use it as much as needed.

you have to figure out how much you use per day.. multiply that number by 31 or so. Then, divide one gallon by that number. Boom. There you go.

That would depend on monitoring parameters,and how much your tank is consuming.

like mentioned above. if you are dosing every day you will need to do some math to figure out exactly how much you will be using. but you need to monitor your parameters to make sure you are not over dosing and only using it when needed. the big container usualy last me 6 months or more for my 58g tank wich is about 70g total water amount. but i dont have hardly any SPS so if you have alot of SPS you will use more then me right off the get go.

I use Kent, but in my 90 (60 net gallons of water) I add 25ml of each part daily. Lots of sps in there.

In my 175 (170 net gal) I use 60cc of each. LOTS OF SPS

isnt cc the same as ml? i like you how used both in your post. :)

im using about 10mL a day in my 50 gallon.

To get a feeling of what you have to dose for your tank, just test everyday trying to test at around the same time you tested the day before. And dose more or less to get that number stable.
