Where can I download it, and how to use it?

Lots of people use it. It has taken on a bit of negative connotation in this hobby, and it can be abused to misrepresent things (usually to sell). Photoshop is a really power program, and you can do some amazing things with it, but there is a bit of a learning curve to it. There's tons of info out there on how to use it.

You can download a trial version from Adobe.

Here's a decent thread from the SPS forum that talks about the use & misuse of PS. Understanding Photoshop (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1641617&highlight=photoshop)

I learned most of what I know from Youtube tutorials that random people make.

The edit function on photobucket is pretty good, easy to use, and free.

IMO, unless you plan on really doing a lot with your photos, photoshop elements is more than enough for most people. that being said, i've been using photoshop since the mid 90's - i would be lost without it.
