Detached Acan heads

Does anyone have experience with detached Acan heads. I have tried placing them in a cup with LR rubble in hopes they will re-attach, but it has not been successful. Have not tried glueing them. Any advice will be most welcome.

Polyp bailout in acans is generally due to low magnesium levels. Once they bail, they are pretty much done. I have never seen a bailed out polyp grow new skeleton.

Thank Zeppelin. Not good news, but I appreciate it. I had hopes of the bailed heads attaching to some LR. I have seen some acans spread from the skeleton frags they came on to the LR the skeleton was attached to. Anyway, much appreciated.
