I have several candy cane frags and colonies that have done well and grown or have broken over the last two years. I would like to join these stems back together to create a larger colony look. Ideally, I would use 5 minute epoxy and drill a hole, plant them, and fill it.

I am not a big fan of using the 2 part "squeeze it epoxy" - it never seems to holed for me and I have tries C.A. - it is just too time consuming and slow.

Dose anyone have any suggestions of what to use?

CA glue is only slow if you don't use accelerant. You can usually find is at hobby shops. glue the parts and then spray it with the accelerant. It will make CA glue set faster than you can move your fingers.

You could also use the epoxy putty in a hole.

Have you tried the super glue GEL?
It works for me when gluing SPS straight to a flat frag disc.

but how big of a colony are you planning on gluing together?
