I have a small pond about 3'x6' and about 18" deep. Something recently ate the fish and i need to restock. I don't want anything too expensive or fragile, looking for cheap and hardy. i only need 3 or 4, no more than 6. thanks

You may want to invest in a protective cover to avoid providing the racoons and heron with additional snacks. ;)

You don't mention what kind of fish u need. When I had a pond years ago. I stocked it with goldfish caught in local ponds. We had a shallow pond at work and I stocked it with feeder goldfish after a blue heron ate all the bosses $500 koi :)

just looking for cheap goldfish. The ones i had were in there for 2 years and got pretty big. going to look into something to keep them out next time, I'm assuming it was a heron. I have used feeder fish in the past and they grow nicely but i don't want to wait that long this time

Can you post pictures of your pond? I am thinking along the lines of your size.
