i have an 8g biocube and i was wondering if there if some sort of dwarf angler that would thrive in that size tank.

no. the smallest anglers are hard to come by, very expensive, and on the pricey side. and I still don't think they are suitable for an 8 gallon biocube. all the other smaller sized anglers commonly available are going to need AT LEAST a 20-30 gallon tank.

i agree with Lisa. additionally, the dwarf angler that is usually available can be a bit touchy and is cryptic, even by angler standards.

Anglers are an interesting bunch and to see one in a smaller space on paper sounds like a great idea, but it sounds like they are in need of a bigger space than that 8 gallons. I would think that the bioload would be a concern considering there eating (and pooping) habits.
