Which Blulbs

Guys Im ready to change my tyered old 10k double ended MH bulbs out and wanted to Go with Ridium 250w 20k but they dont make them . My second choice is Ushio 250W 20k. What do you guys think for optimal coral growth?

I have 4 250w halides ( double ended)
AND 4 Super Actinics 39w( allready have these new waiting for my halides to change out.)

Ushio 20K are very nice bulbs, you will be sacrificing some growth but you should get amazing colors! Another nice bulb is the Helios 20K it has a lot of par for a 20K bulb

I just got Ushio 250w DE 20K bulbs yesterday and absolutely love them. (bluewave M-80 ballasts

I also run 4 39w T5's g-man pure actinics on I-cap ballast

I started with Ushio 10K, then went to Ushio 14K, and now the 20k's.

You will not be disappointed IMO.

The EVC 20K lamps perform very well against Sanjay's lighting tests.
