I signed up for the automatic in stock email on your Black Saddleback Clowns but I had a few questions.

1. Do you ever receive any that are tank breed?

2. Are the wild caught Saddlebacks still considered hardy?

3. Any significant color varaitions between the Cebu and the Papua New Guinea?

4. Would the mediums (1-1/4" to 2-1/2") still likely be young enough that they havne't sexed or should I start with the small if I want a pair?

Thanks

carb850,

Thank you for your post about our Black Saddleback Clownfish. These great Clownfish are considered hardy for housing in your aquarium as they are classified as easy care specimens.

At this time tank bred specimens are not available. There will not be a color variation between the Cebu and the Papua New Guinea. The only difference is the collection area they are obtained from.

When selecting a size for ordering, Clownfish are hermaphroditic and the dominant fish will develop into a female. Therefore you would be able to purchase any size.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, as we enjoy helping our customers.

carb850,

Thank you for your post. We do not currently have any pairs of Black Saddleback Clowns in quarantine. Unfortunately, good quality Black Saddleback Clowns are difficult to come by. We will continue to try and obtain some of these fish in the future.
