RO/DI Unit...opinions?

I am in the process of trying to find a good RO/DI unit for my budget and ran across this one on ebay. What do you guys think about this one?

I would recommend one of the Reef Central sponsors as their quality is excellent and price commensurate with value. Filter Guys is one of them.

Just remember more GPD isnt always necessarily a good thing...

ive got one for airwaterice.com and it works great. there are a few sponsors from this site (filter guys, air water ice, bulk reef supply, etc) that sell good ones. check them out, decide which one you want and get it. each has its own little features and differences, but in the end you want 0 tds, which they will give you. i went with the air water ice because i wanted the hand held tds meter, while some people like having the two inline tds meters like other ones have.

also before you order one from ebay, be sure it says it will give you 0 tds. other people have had luck getting one off ebay, but be sure it doesnt everything you need before you get it.

I'm using Spectrapure's Maxcap RODI system. Its a 90gpd unit and I liked how simple it was to setup and use. It has 2 inline TDS meters and color-changing resin in some of the stages, so I get a early heads up that I need to think about replacing them.

Its the only RODI unit I have tried / used but I am extremely happy with it.

I just got one from Marc at Melevsreef.com. He sells a 100gpd, 5 stage unit for 169.00 plus shipping. I love it!!!

I won't get into pros and cons, many of these links, (in no specific order), have a lot of tips and suggestions.

Don't get too hung up of rejection rates of the RO membranes, you can swap that out......and I will suggest adding a second DI stage, an internal TDS meter, and a pressure guage.

I ordered the 5 stage RO DI from bulk reef supply yesterday. They have a June special, where you get a free upgrade to dual TDS meters. I can't wait to get it hooked up ( hopefully in the garage, where my Brute containers are at). Thank you a lot guys for all the advice.
