Loss of an excellent source of mantis shrimp

Over the years, I have relied on Flying Fish Express as a primary source of stomatopods. Today when I contacted them asking about an order, I received a response for Drs. Foster and Smith informing me that FFE had been taken over by them and that they would no longer special order or supply stomatopods. Too bad. The folks at FFE were a great bunch who offered quality service. I guess I'm in the market for new importers.

that bites. I've talked with one former employees, the news of the sale was as much a surprise to him as it was to us.
maybe the folks at www.reefermadness.us could help, since they seem to have a pretty good relationship with Walt Smith. I don't imagine it would be that hard for him to arrange collection of stomatopods.
