Hello,
Is there any issues or concerns I should be aware of when treating fish with API E.M. Erythromycin ?? Such as harm to coral, invertrebrates or live rock ??
I added 5 fish to a 120 gallon tank that had been sitting fallow for 4 weeks after tearing it down and setting it up elsewhere. One of the fish shows a white fungus on its mouth. Possibly columnaris (sp?) which is supposedly pretty contagious. I'm concerned if I put that single fish in a hospital tank to treat it that the others might have issues that are presently not seen. I did notice my Chevron Tang swimming into the powerhead flow quite a bit which also has me concerned.
Other than the cost to treat 120 gallons rather than a 40 gallon hospital tank, is there something I should know about using Erythromycin ?? Thanks in advance.
