So I have a Coralife Deluxe power compact fluorescent fixture (it's similar to a Current Satellite fixture) above my tank. It has two fans built into the fixture that tend to hum really loudly.
I've been thinking about trying to slow down the fans or maybe swap them out with some "stealth" PC fans that I use on my computer, which are very quiet, and seem to be about the same size.
I just thought I'd ask if anyone has done this before and how it worked out for them?
