I have purchased two items from your auctions and one from the MAX show.

Early last week, I noticed that I was not receiving any emails from you when I bid or was outbid as I had before. I logged into your email section and found a new page where I had to sign up for the emails I wanted and click "Update", which I did. In fact, I did it several times over the course of a few days and still was not receiving any emails.

On Wed. I won an item. I immediately went to your contact page to find a phone number. There was none listed, so I sent an email via your contact web page. I stated that I that I was not receiving any emails from you. Please note that I am getting RC emails, friends' emails, etc. I have also logged into our server and verified that the spam folder is completely empty and that there are no messages residing on the server.

I sent a customer service email to you stating that I am not getting your emails and that they are not on our server. I requested that you reply via email and if you did not hear back from me via email within 24 hours, to please call me as I had no way to contact you.

More importantly, in that email I let you know that I had just won an auction and I requested that you not ship my winning order without calling me to arrange the shipping with me.

No one ever called and the order showed up on Tuesday morning.

I have my email program set to check for emails every 1 minute. I received a shipping email Tuesday afternoon at 4:49 pm, over 6 hours after the package arrived.

The late shipping email is the only email I have received from you for months, despite placing bids yesterday.

I am very unhappy that no one ever called me prior to shipping as per my request.

Lastly, this would all be tolerable if the coral were not bleaching around the rim. I purchased another Moseleya a few months ago from you and it is doing fabulously. I added this Moseleya to the same tank under the same lighting and flow and it is getting worse since I received it.

Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate all feedback!

In reviewing the process we do not show your email ever having hit our system. Our phone number and email address are listed at the bottom of every auction page under “Customer Service”. The “Contact us” link is strictly a form that allows customers to send feedback via email.

On the email transmissions (outbound), we are having a problems with our email server/service provider and we are doing everything humanly possible to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

On Shipments we clearly state our ship dates on all auction pages. We, as a general rule, try to accommodate shipping change requests but it is not always possible.

On the bleaching, please keep us posted. You colonies health is our greatest concern.

Thank you again

I went to the winning bid page and here is what I see at the bottom:

About Us | Contact Us | Privacy Policy | FAQ | Site Map

So I picked Contact Us, as that seemed the correct choice. I never thought to go searching elsewhere on your site. A buyer (at least this one) would expect that the Contact Us link would be there for buyers' to contact you.

I just wanted update the outcome of this thread.

On 6/12/09 I spoke with Aquatic Auction on the telephone and they explained that they had had some website communication problems due to the fact they they had overwhelmed their outgoing mail server's capacity. They also stated that sometimes corals don't ship well.

They asked me to send them the photos of the bleaching moselya that I received, which I did immediately on 6/12/09. I also sent a photo of a moselya taken that same day of one that i had purchased from them a few months ago that is doing fabulously in my tank, so they could see that the tank parameters are all stable.

They never contacted me again. However, they did respond to this thread and made it appear that all was well and that they had taken care of my problem.

They never contacted me again and did nothing after receiving the photos except to post on 6/13/09 that it was nice to chat with me.
