hehe, thanks. I watched every single game of theirs this season (pretty bad eh?).

They even suprised me with the effort in coming back down 2 games to zero. Fleury was amazing tonight.

It was a great game...just wish I could have stayed up for the last 9 minutes. Fell asleep and had to watch sports center to see who won. Now Pittsburgh just needs the Pirates to win the World Series and the town will be set;).

Wow, you missed a hell of a finish to a game. Detroit scored with 6 mins left and pretty much spent the final 6 mins in the pittsburgh defensive zone. Fleury made an amazing save with seconds left on the clock on Nick Lidstrom where he threw himself in front of the puck on what would be an open net. It was a spectacular finish and celebration.

I wish more people were into Hockey around these parts. It's such an amazing sport.

Gratz Brett. Watching the look of disbelief on Hossa's face was priceless. As much as I hate Sidney Crosby and his pathetic attempt at facial hair, I can't respect what Hossa did last year to you guys.

Now if only the Rangers could suck really bad for 4 years in a row to line up 4 #1 or #2 picks, we'd be in business. Then again that can fail too (See Knicks, NY)

A few more years and the Islanders are gonna be challenging the Pens more than The Rangers.

Enjoy it, althought as long as you keep Malkin, you'll be right there. That guy is a beast.

now now, the Rangers have sucked pretty bad for a good 15 years and look what they have?

On a serious note, Rangers have driven themselves into a hole with the worst contracts in the league. Gomez, Drury, Redden, Rozival (and whoever they over pay this summer) are considered in the top 10 of worst contracts in the league. They keep doing it to themselves, you'd think they wouldve learned the lesson in the Drury/Gomez summer but they went out and did the Redding and Rozival in the following. Now people are talking about Gaborik for them... uggh.

If the Rangers want to get good again they need to be much better at the Draft. They need to stop the stupid Free Agent signings. You can't build a team through Free Agency in the cap world. I really don't know how they'll do it because they're on the hook for these guy for many more years, it doesnt look good for them.

The Islanders though do look a bit better. They hoarded a lot of picks in a very very deep draft this year. They have the 1st overall and it looks like they'll choose Tavares or Hedmen. Franchise forward, or Franchise Dman... cant go wrong there. They also have a late 1st rounder and I think 3 2nd rounders that they obtained from trading back in last years draft. They seem to have a build through the draft mentality and once they obtain their blue chip prospect this draft I can see them getting back into things.

The pens winning didnt happen simply because they stunk for 4 seasons. If that were the case why do the Thrashers still suck? Columbus? LA? Gotta give a little more credit than that, how about Washington doing the same thing as the pens but not being as good.
