I need it for a 175 watt SE MH Reeflux bulb.

I've wired ballasts before but this thing is HUGE?

The Reeflux lamps are pulse start lamps. This is a probe start ballast. Though it may ignite the lamp, but will not be good for the lamp, the color will shift, and have low efficiency, and a short life. Pulse start lamps require an ignitor to fire it up. IIRC the correct ballast is an ANSI M137 (Pulse Start)

M57 is Probe start. XM bulbs I believe are probe start bulbs as well.
