best 36" t5 fixture for prog tank

what is the best 36" t5 fixture for prog tank. looking to hook up a 30 gal breeder for a frag tank. i was think aquatinics tx5. what does everyong think i'm open for suggestions.

Your best & cheapest route is to diy a hood/canopy for the breeder tank. Use ATI bulbs(best PAR) & Icecap reflectors(excellent). You can get everything ya need from www.reefgeek.com You really want to go wt 4 bulbs or 6 for SPS.

Tek, Icecap retros, reefgeek, aquactinics, to name a few are the best ind. reflectors. You need to call reefgeek for theirs though.

i have the 36 inch 4 bulb tek unit on a 40 gallon frag tank and it grows sps very well

Several fellow members from our club swear by their nova extreme pro fixtures. most/all have changed out the stock bulbs to get the right colors they're looking for. 6 bulb unit to let you pick and choose your bulb colors. probably not as cheap as a DIY though, but worth a look into.
