Ok first program the Digital powerbar and the dossing pump

1. Enable the "Digital PowerBar connected on S1-S4"
2. Disconnect everything from the controler and just connect the Digital powerbar on S1-S4
3. In ProfiLuxControl go to the System>Socket Function>Program Digital PowerBar or Dosing Pump Unit>Numbering of a Digital powerbar
4. Set the start number to 9 and save
5. Disconnect the Digital powerbar
6. Now Connect the dosser on S1-S4
7. In ProfiLuxControl go to the System>Socket Function>Program Digital PowerBar or Dosing Pump Unit>Numbering of a Dosing pump station
8. Set the start to 1 and save
9. Plug 6 socket power bar on S1-S4
10. Plug Dosser in series on the free connector on the Digital powerbar
11. Plug 4 socket power bar on S5-S8

Now you have your pumps on S1, S2, S3, S4

Analog Plugs on S5, S6, S7, S8
Digital Plugs on S9, S10, S11, S12, S13, S14

Make sure to move/change any of the pumps/heater/lights that you originaly had on S1-S6

i was thinking that the analog plugs had to be on 1-4

but i did read that the dose should be on 1-4. thats what was causing part of the confusion.

so do i plug the digital powerbar into the dosing pump? i dont have the ex model so i think i only have 2 s sockets and the analog powerbar cant be daisychained

thanks in advance for any help

digital power bar into S1S4
Doser into digital power bar

Analaogue bar into S5S8 only

Numering as follows

Analogue - socket 5 to 8
Digital power bar - socket 9-15
Doser - 16 upwards

socket 1 to 4 become redundant.

you can set the dosser on S1-S4 and not lose them... or seperate the pumps from the plugs if you ever add a extra digital powerbar. This is how I have mine set :)

ok, so from what you are saying,

dosing pump plugged into s1s4.

digital powerbar plugged into the dosing pump

analog powerbar plugged into s5s8

dosing pump numbered as 1-4

analog bar numbered as 5-8

digital bar numbered as 9-15

is that right?

is there any pros/cons associated with either way of doing it?

nope just preference, I did not want to have gaps in my numbering and have a mix... and since you cant number the analog plugs it makes perfect sense to leave the dosing unit on S1, S2, S3, S4 and then to have the rest of the "S" for sockets.

Also it doesn’t mater if you connect the doser first or the digital power bar to the controller
