I used the sump calculator here on RC and it said I needed at least a 6.2 gallon sump. (50 gallon tank, 500gph through sump)
I want to use a 10 gallon tank for a sump and a separate fuge.
Not a lot of room under the stand. I actually could fit a 15 gallon and make 5 gallons of it fuge and may go that route.
Anyone see a problem with either one of these?
BTW, the calculated volume is 1.2 gallons if the power goes out.
