Advise Please

I'm am going to be placing an order for a RKL1 real soon and want to make sure I get everything I need now. Future stuff can wait.

Mainly going to be controlling lights and temp. for now. Here is what i'll have running.

2x250w HQI Magnetics (3.3amps each)

1x175w Icecap Elect. Ballast

300w heater and probably another 150w

4 small PC fans for cooling (12v)

Maybe a switch here and there, know more when I get it and play around with it.

I think I would need the RKL1 and a second PC4 module. Is that what you would recommend?

That looks like it would take care of it for you. You can put all the fans on a single outlet to give you more room if needed. They draw almost no load so that's not a problem.

Thank you, one last question.

What is different between the PL4 and the expansion socket besides having 2 less plugs? Does it control both plugs the same, not independant control of the 2 plugs, correct?

The ES is not controllable on the bus and both channels are controlled the same not independently.
