Simple question, can the PC4 have an additional standard power strip connected to one of its outlets? As long as I don't exceed the 15amp max on the single PC4 in total power?

eg: plug in standard power strip (with 3 fans) into channel one of the PC4 and be able to turn off an on from the program on channel 1?

A big thank you in advance :)

Part of your statement/question is fine the other isn't...

Yes - You can plug in the device you're asking about.
NO - It can NOT handle 15amps. You can't exceed the channel limit! That has nothing to do with the total 15amp limit of the PC4.

Hope that makes sense! You may have been thinking that and typed something different, but it's a very important point we need to make!!!

Thanks Scott. Guess I must have typed it a little hard to understand (the downfall of typing and not better explain myself). But I get your point :) BTW what is each channel rated for on the PC4? This will give me a better idea on if I would need to purchase an additional PC4 in the future. I'm trying to get a good idea of how these controllers work since I'm in the market for one.

This forum has been more than helpful and the information is very much appreciated. :)

Channels 1 and 4 are both rated up to 8 amps....2 and 3 are lower...but keep in mind the total combined amp draw on a PC4 is 15 amps.

andywe is right...

1 & 2: 8 amps
3 & 4: 3 amps

15 amps total combined load
