I have 2 yellow tail damsels, my first and only fish, that have been laying eggs almost every week like clockwork. At first I was like cool they're happy and the tank must be healthy, I even saw them "dance" once. In the last 2 weeks I've noticed a bunch of little white things, dead fry I guess, in the low flow areas, but last night I saw 3 or 4 dead fish. They are about 5mm and look like fish, i.e. defined body/tail. Could all these dead guys hurt my water quality? I'd almost like to try and raise them but I know nobody would want them!

As long as you have a good clean-up crew, they will take care of the dead fry. Think of it as free food for your tank inhabitants.

Just 2 hermits and about 12 snails.
