Will the temp probe monitor ambient temp accurately? For external fans in a canopy or cabinet to be controlled correctly?
Thanks
Looking forward to the ups arrival :D
ps
Can the 2 plug expansion run of a rkl head? I was thinking of having a mini setup to run a quarantine tank. If yes, can the expansion be plugged into an extension cord? Or does it need to be plugged into a wall socket or pc4?

Your a bit confusing here. First off, yes it can measure ambient, however DA will need to answer what it's range is.
2nd, what 2 plug expansion are you talking about? Are you talking about controlling a single PC4 from 2 different GC head units? PC4 can only be controlled from 1 head unit at a time.

Sorry if that was confusing.
Can a reefkeeper lite head unit control the expansion module alone or does it need a pc4 in the mix.
ie, reefkeeper controller and only the expansion module.
here is the module:

If you only want 2 outlets, I believe the PC1 is what you are after. Check that out.

Keep in mind that those two outlets are not independent, though. :)

What you want is the PC1, I believe. Its just like a PC4 but with 2 outlets instead of 4.
