The tips of my pink bird's nest are turning white. Not new growth, the bleached area goes down a ways on each branch. Not sure what is wrong parameters are spot on. Had the coral out of water about 10 minutes trying to capture a red mythrax crab. Didn't think this was an issue since many corals are out of water for hours during low tide and they are unaffected. I have a piece of the frag that broke off and is in the tank doing fine, it is actually located near the top of the tank while the original frag is near the bottom-middle. I have 150w MH (25 gallon cube) and the coral has been in my tank for a week. My lighting is more intense from where they came, but again one piece is fine while the other isn't. Not sure why the frag is bleaching while the small piece that broke off is donig fine. I have posted in the 'new to hobby' and 'sps' sections and no one has any idea. You guys are the experts when it comes to dealing with corals so I thought I would post here.
